Quinlan Medical Management, a Florida State certified Minority Business, was founded in 2004 by Patricia Quinlan, RN, BS, CCM, CDMS. Ms. Quinlan has more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry and has served as a rehabilitation advisor, insurance company liaison, branch manager and Florida Managed Care Plan Administrator for both rehabilitation providers and a major claims administrator.

The company was started to provide services targeted to the insurance industry’s needs in resolving challenging cases. The growth for Quinlan Medical Management has been significant but has not been accomplished at the cost of quality. The Company’s philosophy is to meet the client’s needs by responding to stated service requests in a timely and cost effective manner.

Territory: Quinlan Medical Management covers the state of Florida from Key Largo to the Panhandle and Pensacola with all areas in between. We also service parts of Georgia and Alabama. Quinlan Medical Management is comprised of its founder, Patricia Quinlan, along with Administrative staff, TCM RN staff and 23 contractual Rehabilitation Providers throughout the state.

Case Manager Qualifications: All of our Case Managers are licensed Registered Nurses (RN’s) and hold at least one certification in the following areas: Certified Case Manager, CCM, Certified Disability Management Specialist, CDMS, Certified Occupational Health Nurse, COHN or Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurse, CRRN. All hold a Qualified Rehabilitation Provider number and are duly insured.

Our case managers come from diverse backgrounds. These backgrounds along with extensive experience in both Worker’s Compensation and Group Health, allow our case managers to address other issues, such as potentially hazardous sites or actions in the work place. They will also look to find possible job modifications that will allow a more timely return to work. In addition, our case managers can help identify any pre-existing pathology which is preventing recovery from the current injury.
